Sally Willett

COTA/L

Role:

Occupational Therapist

Years at CPT:

9

Favorite thing about CPT:

I love the collaboration between the therapists and disciplines. I also love the fact that I learn something new every day.

Favorite intervention area:

In the 10 years of pediatric mental health experience, I have grown to love working with children with challenging behaviors and helping them function to their highest ability.

Why occupational therapy?

I chose pediatric OT because children have a long life ahead of them and I feel like I can make a difference in all aspects of their life because OT is all encompassing.

Outside of CPT:

My husband and I have been happily married for 8 years with 3 wonderful children, Charlie Jo, Pate, and Archer. We enjoy any outdoor activities (hiking, camping, etc.). In my spare time I like to work on DIY projects in my home and spend time with family.

What I wish more people knew about occupational therapy:

Occupational therapists work on more than simply activities of daily living. We address all areas of life and for children that includes, but is not limited to, play and feeding.
