Jordan Redman

MS, OTR/L

Role:

Occupational Therapist

Year I joined CPT:

2024

Favorite thing about CPT:

Everyone is very welcoming and willing to help each other out. I was excited to join the team because it is a fun environment filled with staff that have a passion for what they do!

Favorite intervention area:

Over the last few years, I have worked on furthering my knowledge and clinical skills in feeding therapy. I did not realize how complex feeding was until I started to specialize in that area. I enjoy using different approaches to implement with feeding interventions and seeing the progress made.

Why occupational therapy?

I have always enjoyed helping others. What better way than to help children learn and develop through play!

Outside of CPT:

I recently moved into a new home and spend a lot of time outside with my three dogs. I have three nephews and they are my world. I love making memories with them whether it is on a family vacation or reading books at bedtime. I also am involved in different activities within my church and enjoy attending weekly small groups.

What I wish more people knew about occupational therapy:

Even though therapists do play a role with helping children progress toward achieving desired outcomes, so much of that progress couldn’t be possible without all the dedication and time from the parents across ongoing treatment.
