Car Seat Fit Checks

Center for Pediatric Therapy prioritizes the safety and needs of children.

This is why we offer free Car Seat Fit Checks to members of the community at our outpatient clinic location for children of all ages.

Caregivers will learn about:

Choosing an appropriate car seat for child’s needs
Installing the latch and seat belt properly
Ensuring belt path tightness

Rachel Moesner, COTA/L is a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician through Safe Kids Worldwide and has been certified since 2015. During these fit checks, she is trained to assist parents in selecting the appropriate car seat to fit each individual child’s needs and coach parents during the installation process.
