Center for Pediatric Therapy is a provider of Indiana First Steps Early Intervention System. We are committed to serving the children (birth – 3 years) and families of Southern Indiana. Our senior staff at Center for Pediatric Therapy has provided First Steps services since 1997 and proudly continues to do so.
See the list of services we provide below.
Center for Pediatric Therapy has several developmental therapists on staff that help promote the development of children birth – 3 years old through First Steps.
Through this federal program, developmental therapists provide therapy services in a child’s natural environment. Through play and caregiver education, developmental therapists aid in achieving family and child centered goals to improve overall quality of life of the child.
At Center for Pediatric Therapy, we have a social worker on staff that assists First Steps children and families with overcoming challenges to improve overall well-being and quality of life.
Social workers coordinate with community resources to provide supports for families in need. In addition, social workers can provide counseling services for mental, behavioral, and emotional difficulties.
