Physical Therapist (PT)/Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

 

At the Center for Pediatric Therapy, physical therapists (PT) and physical therapy assistants (PTA) help infants and children with a variety of diagnoses, illnesses, and injuries improve their physical well-being. Physical therapists/assistants are responsible for evaluating (PT), developing, and implementing individualist and holistic plans of care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. We are looking for a physical therapist or physical therapy assistant to join our amazing team of highly experienced therapists.

Responsibilities

  • Work a minimum of (4) 8-hour scheduled days in outpatient clinic 
  • Evaluate new/existing patients and create individualized plan of care for patients (PT)
  • Carry out individualized plan of care and communicate with caregivers of patients for effective follow through with home exercise programs 
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to provide holistic treatment to each patient
  • Refer patients to other disciplines/services when treatment falls out of the scope of practice of a PT
  • Maintain updated licensure through appropriate amount of continuing education

Qualifications

  • Appropriate degree requirements depending on the position – PT, PTA
  • IN Licensure
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help others
