Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)/Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP)
At the Center for Pediatric Therapy, speech language pathologists help infants and children with a variety of diagnoses, illnesses, and injuries improve their overall well-being and increase effective communication. Speech language pathologists are responsible for evaluating, creating, and implementing individualist and holistic plans of care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. We are looking for a speech language pathologist or clinical fellow to join our amazing team of highly experienced therapists.
Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities
- Work a minimum of (4) 8-hour scheduled days in outpatient clinic
- Perform initial evaluations and create individualized plan of care for patients
- Carry out individualized plan of care and communicate with caregivers of patients for effective follow through with home exercise programs
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust plan of care accordingly
- Collaborate with other disciplines to provide holistic treatment to each patient
- Refer patients to other disciplines/services when treatment falls out of the scope of practice of a SLP
- Maintain updated licensure through appropriate amount of continuing education
Qualifications
- Appropriate degree requirements depending on the position – CCC-SLP, CF-SLP
- IN Licensure
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to help others
