Favorite thing about CPT:

I love the energy, creativity, and kindness shown by all the therapists! Plus, they have the best toys!

Favorite intervention area:
I love handwriting and motor skills development! I love to see a kid that has struggled, being proud of their work!

Why Occupational Therapy?
I love the diversity and creativity of OT. You can change your area of practice and help people of all ages. I started out in inpatient rehabilitation, then moved to pediatric school setting, long term care, and now have circled back to pediatrics! Playing all day is fun and I can’t wait to watch my CPT friends grow in their skills!

What I wish more people knew about Occupational Therapy:
OT can work on everything from playing to handwriting to getting dressed to cooking…everyone has a “job” to do to make their lives meaningful and better

Outside of CPT:
I married my high school sweetheart, Justin, almost 25 years ago. We love to travel, going to concerts and supporting our kids in their interests. My daughter will be a freshman in college playing softball & studying business at KWC, and my son loves playing Euphonium/Baritone in the Reitz Mighty Marching Panthers! We are all big supporters of the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival and 4-H programs and Vanderburgh County 4-H Fair.
